01Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Wixnit's website and its eleven connected apps — Shop, POS, Cashier, Order Flow, QR, Frontdesk, Staff, Deep Insight, Merge, Ledger and Places (together, the "Services"). By creating an account or using any Wixnit app, you agree to these Terms.

If you're using the Services on behalf of a business, you're agreeing on that business's behalf, and "you" refers to that business throughout these Terms.

02The Wixnit platform

Wixnit is a set of apps that share a common account and data layer, so a business can pick the ones it needs and connect them as it grows. Some apps are built for businesses (Shop, POS, Cashier, Order Flow, Frontdesk, Staff, Deep Insight), while Merge, Ledger and Places offer free personal accounts alongside their business plans.

We may add, change, or discontinue individual apps or features over time. We'll give reasonable notice before discontinuing a feature you actively rely on.

03Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create a Wixnit account. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

04Subscriptions, trials and billing

Paid Wixnit apps are billed on the plan and interval you select at checkout. Free trials convert to a paid subscription automatically at the end of the trial period unless you cancel first. You can add, remove, or change apps on your account at any time from your billing settings; changes take effect on your next billing cycle unless stated otherwise.

Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise at the time of purchase.

05Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose, or to defraud a customer, employee, or another business.
• Attempt to circumvent Frontdesk or QR's short-stay fraud detection, or otherwise misrepresent a booking or stay.
• Upload content to Shop, Merge, or Places that is illegal, infringing, or misleading.
• Reverse-engineer, resell, or white-label the Services without our written permission.
• Interfere with the security or normal operation of the Services.

06Content you provide

You retain ownership of the content you create in the Services — product listings, receipts, messages, reviews, and Places listings. By posting content, you grant Wixnit a license to host, display, and transmit it as needed to operate the Services, including sharing it with the counterpart it's addressed to (a customer, a guest, another business).

You're responsible for making sure you have the rights to any content you upload, and for its accuracy.

07Payments processed through Wixnit

POS, Cashier, Ledger, and Places wallet payments are processed through third-party payment processors. Wixnit is not a bank and does not guarantee the outcome of any individual transaction. Disputes about a specific sale are between the transacting parties; we'll assist with records where we reasonably can.

08Staff verification features

If you enable Wixnit Staff's facial recognition, liveness check, or geofencing features, you confirm that you have obtained any consent required by law from the employees subject to them before turning the feature on. You're responsible for your own compliance with local employment and biometric privacy laws — Wixnit provides the tool, but the employer relationship, and the consent within it, is yours to manage.

09Hospitality and fraud detection features

Frontdesk and QR include features designed to flag short-stay resale and similar fraud patterns. These are provided as a tool to support your own review — Wixnit does not guarantee that every instance of fraud will be detected, and you remain responsible for your own verification and decisions around any flagged booking.

10Wixnit Places bookings and wallet

Bookings made through Places are agreements between you and the venue or host, not with Wixnit. We facilitate discovery, booking, and payment, but the venue is responsible for honoring the booking. The Places wallet can be used to pay, split bills, and receive refunds; balances are not interest-bearing and are subject to the payment processor's own terms.

11Intellectual property

Wixnit and its logos, apps, and underlying software are owned by Wixnit or its licensors and protected by intellectual property law. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding beyond what's needed to use the Services normally.

12Third-party services and integrations

Some Services connect to third-party platforms — social channels through Merge, payment processors, or mapping providers in Places. We're not responsible for the availability or content of third-party services, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.

13Disclaimers

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wixnit disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every fraud or error will be caught.

14Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wixnit will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

15Termination

You can stop using the Services and close your account at any time from your settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, misuse the Services, or if required by law. On termination, provisions that by their nature should survive — like payment obligations and limitations of liability — will continue to apply.

16Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be resolved in the courts located in Abuja, FCT, unless local law requires otherwise.

17Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the Services evolve. We'll notify you of material changes through the Services or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Services after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
